Celebrating Leo’s Weekend Successes: Two S-level Placings and Big Progress

This weekend was truly special for Leo and me, marked by two impressive S-level placings. Notably, Leo secured a second-place finish with over 77% and achieved a technical score exceeding 73%—a significant milestone that fuels our motivation moving forward.

Every ride with Leo feels like he's leveling up, and I’m learning more each day about how to best support him in the ring. Recently, we've been focusing on refining those quick gear changes between forward and collected work—an essential skill that makes a noticeable difference in our performance.

In addition to training adjustments, we've also been fine-tuning his nutrition. I noticed that Leo sometimes needed a bit more energy on show days, so we've been incorporating Magnoturbo by @iwest_tierernaehrung into his diet. By simply increasing his intake slightly around competitions, we've seen a real positive impact—more energy, more focus, and better performance.

Looking back from his very first young horse class to now, bringing Leo up through this journey myself makes every achievement incredibly meaningful. It’s a testament to the hard work, patience, and bond we’ve built along the way.
